Sergio Cedillo has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sergio is currently employed as a Senior Automation/SCADA Analyst at Diamondback Energy since March 2023. Prior to that, Sergio worked at ExxonMobil as a SCADA Programmer Contractor from December 2019 to March 2023.

Before joining ExxonMobil, Sergio worked at Chevron in multiple roles. Sergio served as an Automation & Controls - Field Support Analyst from May 2018 to December 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Projects and Execution Automation Analyst from July 2017 to May 2018. Sergio started their career at Chevron as an NGL & Gas Plants I&E Automation Analyst from August 2013 to July 2017.

Sergio's work experience also includes roles at Solar Turbines as a Field Service Representative II in 2012, Siemens as a Field Service Engineer III from 2011 to 2012, Baker Hughes as an Electronics/Electro-Mechanical IV - Open Hole Logging Engineer from 2007 to 2011, and Xerox as a Field Service Engineer III from 1996 to 2007.

Additionally, Sergio has served in the US Army - Reserve - National Guard as a Petroleum Supply Specialist and Fire Direction Control Specialist from July 1992 to March 2004.

Sergio Cedillo began their education at Midland College from 1997 to 2000, where they completed their Associate's Degree in Electronics. Sergio then attended Excelsior University from 2005 to 2007, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering at ECPI University. Sergio then focused on their Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Delaware, studying from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are enrolled at the University of Dayton, starting in 2017 and expected to graduate in 2023. Sergio is specializing in Theology/Theological Studies Philosophy at the University of Dayton.
