Travis Causey

Travis Causey has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Travis currently works at Diamondback Energy as a Reservoir Engineer, a role they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Completions Engineer from March 2022 to May 2023, and as an Associate Completions Engineer from January 2020 to February 2022.

Travis gained valuable experience during their time as a student at Texas A&M University, where they studied Petroleum Engineering from August 2015 to December 2019.

Travis also has internship experience, including a role as a Reservoir Engineering Intern at Diamondback Energy Inc from May 2018 to August 2019. Travis also worked as a Production Engineering Intern at Lewis Energy Group from May 2017 to August 2017.

In addition, Travis gained field experience as a Field Intern at Elevation Resources LLC in June 2016, where they observed and worked alongside a pumper, monitored flow rates, documented them in Excel, and ensured oil loads were scheduled appropriately.

Travis Causey attended Midland Christian High School, where they studied General Studies from an unknown start year to 2015. After completing high school, Travis went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University from 2015 to 2019.
