Srivatsa Sampath

Srivatsa Sampath has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Srivatsa is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer - Americas at Diamondpick since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Guardian Life for 15 years as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, from December 2005 to December 2020.

Before joining Guardian Life, Srivatsa worked at Satyam Computers as a Senior Project Manager, where they led the PeopleSoft implementation team and engaged in various global client projects. Srivatsa was responsible for implementing financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Management. Notable projects during their time at Satyam Computers include working with Guardian Life Insurance on reporting and analysis of IT spend, and a full lifecycle financial implementation for Universitas 21 Global.

Prior to Satyam Computers, Srivatsa served as a Professional Accountant & Process Consultant at Srivatsa & Associates. During this time, they worked as an independent contractor and undertook multiple engagements. Srivatsa handled financial responsibilities for Fashion Fabricators and Esquiss SARL, managing offices in France, India, Bangladesh, and Hong Kong. Srivatsa also worked with NMZ Group, managing accounting, payroll, taxation, and inventory functions. Another notable project was at The Banyan, where they established and managed accounting and payroll functions, and obtained a tax exemption certificate for raising donations.

Srivatsa started their career as an Industrial Trainee at Indian Oil Corporation Limited, where they handled accounting procedures for fixed assets. Srivatsa also worked as an Audit Trainee at Karthikeyan & Prakash, Chartered Accountants, where they were involved in finalizing accounts and performing statutory, tax, and propriety audits for various companies.

Srivatsa Sampath started their education in 1990 at the University of Madras, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics in 1993. Srivatsa then went on to study at the Institute of Cost Accountants of India from 1991 to 1995, earning a degree in Cost & Management Accountant with a focus on Cost and Management Accounting. In 1992, they also attended the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, where they obtained a degree in ICSI, specializing in Company and Corporate Law. Finally, from 1993 to 1996, Srivatsa attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and became a Chartered Accountant.

In addition to their formal education, Srivatsa Sampath has also obtained several certifications. In 2005, they obtained the PMP certification from PMI. In 2013, they achieved the ITIL Foundation Certificate and the ALMI - Level 1 certification from LOMA. In 2016, they obtained the AWS Business Fundamentals certification from Amazon Web Services. More recently, in May 2018, Srivatsa earned certifications in "Blockchain: Beyond the Basics" and "The Essential Elements of Predictive Analytics and Data Mining" from LinkedIn.
