Kari Hovorka

Kari Hovorka is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs with extensive experience in the medical device sector. At Diasorin, from October 2022 to July 2025, Kari served as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist for the US and Canada, and also led the EU/Global RA Team while holding the position of Senior RA Specialist, specializing in European Regulations (IVDD/IVDR). Prior to this role, Kari worked at RQM from January 2018 to September 2021 as a Senior Regulatory Specialist and Specialist in Medical Device Quality Systems and Regulatory Affairs. Additional experience includes regulatory project support at Regulatory and Quality Solutions (R&Q) and a quality and regulatory contractor position at ThermaSolutions Inc. Earlier academic pursuits included a Bachelor of Applied Science in Biology from Bemidji State University and an Associate’s Degree from North Hennepin Community College.
