Lakshmi Jaiprakash is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor at Diaspora Therapy Group since April 2024, previously serving as a Psychotherapist/Sex Therapist-in-Training at DULCINEA PITAGORA, PhD, LCSW, CST. Lakshmi's clinical experience includes a 9-month fieldwork providing affirmative psychotherapy counseling for diverse groups. Prior to the counseling roles, Lakshmi worked as a Research Assistant at Palo Alto University focusing on LGBTQ+ sexual health, and held various positions in business and process improvement, including roles at HP and Waste Management. Educational qualifications include multiple degrees in Counseling Psychology and Industrial Engineering from Columbia University, alongside an Advanced Certificate in Sexuality, Women, and Gender.
