Dr Mukul Chandra Bora

Dr. Mukul Chandra Bora currently serves as the Director of the Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering & Technology, a position held since August 2021, focusing on educational administration. Previously, Dr. Bora was the Director of DUIET from November 2012 to October 2017, overseeing academic activities within the Department of Civil Engineering and the overall administration of the Institute. Dr. Bora's career began as a Selection Grade Lecturer at Dibrugarh Polytechnic and the Technical Education Department of the Government of Assam from April 1995 to October 2012, where responsibilities included teaching and consultancy. Dr. Bora's academic qualifications include a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering from IIT Guwahati and a Master of Technology in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Jorhat Engineering College.
