Koji Asada

Koji Asada is currently the Head of IT Strategy Unit & GM of the DX Promotion Dept. at DIC Corp. Prior to this, they served as an Executive Officer and Chief of Staff at MUFG Americas Holdings / MUFG Union Bank from July 2016 to June 2018. Koji was also the President & CEO of MUFG / Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (Canada) from January 2014 to July 2016.

Asada began their career at The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. in July 2011 as the General Manager of the Investment Banking Division for the Americas. Koji then became the Senior Alliance Officer at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group in December 2008 before becoming the General Manager, Global Head of M&A Finance at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ in August 2009. Koji held this position until May 2011 when they were promoted to Head of Steel Sector Group, a position they held until December 2008.

They are on a team with Toshiro Ariga - GM, R&D Management Unit GM, Central Research Laboratories, Tomoyuki Tanaka - GM, Corporate Planning Dept., and Naoyoshi Furuta - GM, Production Management Unit. Koji Asada reports to Kaoru Ino, President & CEO.
