Larry Evans

Larry Evans has an extensive work experience in various roles within the mining industry. Larry currently holds the position of Vice President - Vermiculite and Mining Engineering at Dicalite Management Group, where they oversee the vermiculite business unit and mining engineering functions. Prior to this, they were the Principal Consultant at SouthernApp Advisory Services, offering specialized professional services to the natural resource and industrial sectors. Larry has also served as the Chief Operating Officer - New Trinity Mining at Essar, where they focused on the restructuring of coal mining assets. Larry has held senior management positions at Corsa Coal Corporation, Walter Energy, and Walter Energy / Western Coal, where they were responsible for business development, strategy, exploration, technical support, and operations management. Larry has also worked as the Director of Mining and Financial Analysis at Marshall Miller and Associates, providing consulting services in engineering, financial analysis, and operations management. Larry began their career at Peabody Energy, where they gained experience in mine management, engineering, and construction.

Larry Evans attended West Virginia University from 1982 to 1987, earning a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mining Engineering and Business Administration (MBA).
