Alfredo Argueta

Alfredo Argueta has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Alfredo served as the Chief Executive Officer of DICARINA, a leading distribution and logistics company in Panama. Alfredo was responsible for managing a network of 1,800 employees and achieving annual gross sales of over $350 million. Additionally, they represented key local and international companies as their Panama distributor and logistics operator.

Argueta also held a position as a Member of YPO, a premier global leadership organization for chief executives. Alfredo had the opportunity to engage, learn, and grow with influential business leaders from over 130 countries. The combined companies of YPO members generated USD9 trillion in annual revenues and employed more than 22 million people globally.

Furthermore, Argueta served as a Member of the Board of Directors for Movimiento Nueva Generacion, a community-based social organization focused on preventing violence, drugs, and gangs among vulnerable children and adolescents. The organization provided opportunities in education, sports, and culture to promote their overall development and guide them towards a successful future.

Prior to these roles, Argueta worked for Kellogg Company as the Country Manager for Panama-Caricam, where they successfully turned the business around and achieved market leadership. Alfredo also held positions with British American Tobacco, serving as the Country Director for Panama, Dominican Republic, and El Salvador, and later as the Business Development Director for Saudi Arabia.

Argueta began their career as a Management Trainee at TD and later worked as a Financial Advisor. Through their varied experiences, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a track record of achieving business growth and profitability.

Alfredo Argueta completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Trent University from 1999 to 2003. In 2005 to 2006, they pursued their Master's degree in International Business at Aston University. During the same period, they also obtained a Master of Science (MS) in International Business through the Chevening Awards.
