Ricardo Lagido

Ricardo Lagido is a seasoned Android engineer with extensive experience in mobile application development. Currently serving as a Senior Android Engineer at DICE since May 2023, Ricardo previously held the position of Tech Lead at Future Platforms from March 2022 to March 2023, where collaboration with Android, iOS, and Backend teams was key for a major UK rail operator's mobile app project. Prior to that, Ricardo worked as an Android Developer at Reach plc from April 2016 to March 2022, focusing on applications for national, regional, and local newspapers. Early in the career, Ricardo contributed to research in health-related software applications as a Researcher at Fraunhofer Portugal from September 2012 to March 2016 and engaged in software engineering projects at Grupo@Work in July 2011. The academic background includes a Master's degree in Integrated Computer Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, completed in 2012, following secondary education at Escola Secundária José Régio.
