Ilaria Badagnani

Ilaria Badagnani has extensive work experience in the field of DMPK (Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics). Ilaria is currently serving as the Associate Vice President - DMPK (Head of DMPK) at DICE Therapeutics, Inc., a subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company since 2024.

Prior to that, they worked at Theravance Biopharma US, Inc., starting in 2017. During their tenure there, they held several roles including Senior Director - Head of DMPK, Senior Director DMPK, and Director DMPK. Their employment at Theravance Biopharma lasted until 2023.

Before joining Theravance Biopharma, Ilaria worked at AbbVie as a Principal Research Scientist and later as a Senior Scientist III from 2013 to 2017. Prior to AbbVie, they also held positions at Abbott as a Senior Scientist III and Senior Scientist II from 2010 to 2012.

Ilaria's earlier experience includes research scientist positions at Roche Pharmaceuticals and Roche - Palo Alto. Ilaria worked as a Research Scientist II and Research Scientist I at both companies during the period of 2006 to 2009.

Their career in research began with a position as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, San Francisco from 2001 to 2006.

Ilaria Badagnani completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacogenomics from the University of California, San Francisco from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Pharm.D. degree in Pharmacy from The University of Texas at Austin from 1995 to 2001.
