Meina Tao Tang

Meina Tao Tang has extensive work experience in the field of clinical pharmacology and drug development. Meina Tao is currently serving as the VP of Development Sciences at DICE Therapeutics since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Genentech for a total of 12 years, starting in 2009 as a Senior Scientist in Clinical Pharmacology and later progressing to the role of Principal Scientist and Therapeutic Area Lead for Immunology/Inflammation. In this role, they provided expertise for clinical programs related to inflammation and autoimmune diseases. Before joining Genentech, Meina held positions at Facet Biotech and PDL BioPharma, where they served as the Director of PK/PD and Director of PK, respectively. Meina Tao also worked as an Associate Director of PK and held the role of Staff Scientist at PDL BioPharma. Meina's early work experience includes a post-doctoral position at Harvard Medical School.

Meina Tao Tang has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Zhe-Jiang University. Meina Tao also completed a Post Doc in Pathology, focusing on animal disease models and knock out mice, at Harvard Medical School. Furthermore, they hold a Ph.D. in Physiology, with a specialization in General Physiology, from East Tennessee State University.
