John C. Conti

John C. Conti is President and Chief Executive Officer at Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He chairs the firm’s Executive Committee and Medical Malpractice Defense Group. Mr. Conti is also admitted to practice in California and serves as the Managing Attorney of the firm’s Los Angeles office. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers who specializes in the representation of hospitals and other health care providers, primarily in connection with the defense of professional negligence suits and related litigation. In over 35 years of practice, Mr. Conti has represented virtually every major health care institution in the region. This representation has included matters in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and California.

In 2005, Mr. Conti was appointed Adjunct Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he taught a course on expert witnesses until 2014. He has also served as an expert witness in bad faith litigation. He is a licensed airplane pilot, holding multi-engine, instrument, and glider certifications.
