Jose Luis Boscan

Jose Luis Boscan is a skilled Structural Engineer and Truss Designer with a strong background in civil and structural engineering. Currently employed as a Truss Designer at Dick's Lumber since May 2023, Jose previously interned at Welco, focusing on engineering documentation. Significant experience includes designing steel structures for the Oil & Gas industry while working at Tecnicas Reunidas Chile Ltds. and Inelectra, where responsibilities included calculating and designing various support structures for industrial equipment. Earlier work includes a student internship with EWI-PROINCI, involving inspection and supervision of civil works for the Maracaibo Subway system. Jose holds a Master's degree in Structural Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad del Zulia, as well as a Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
