Michael Zell is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in finance and management. They have served as the Chairman of Svenska Skeppshypotekskassan and Sällskapet since 2012 and 2023, respectively, while also being a Board Member at Dicot AB since 2022. Previously, they held various executive positions at Handelsbanken from 1978 to 2012, including Executive Vice President and General Manager in New York. Michael began their career in 1975 as Head of Budget at Rederi AB Nordstjernan after graduating from the Stockholm School of Economics, where they earned an MBA in Accounting and Finance. They also served as a Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Swedish Navy from 1969 to 1972.
