Andrea Ravasio

Andrea Ravasio is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in biological and medical engineering. Currently serving as an associate professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Andrea also directs the Anillos de Investigación en Ciencia y Tecnología project focused on multiscale mechanics in developing systems. Experience includes roles such as consultancy services for technology assessment at Dictuc, research scientist at the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology, and senior research fellow at the National University of Singapore, contributing significantly to biophysical cancer research and mechanobiology. Andrea holds a Ph.D. in Human Physiology from Universität Innsbruck and a Master's Degree in Biology-Physiology from Università degli Studi di Milano, alongside a strong foundation in lung physiology, parasitology, and neurobiology.
