Maoping is Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Bowei Technology Company (BFW), a leader in the field of Next Generation Internet Access Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) devices. Prior to BFW, Maoping served as Deputy Head of Site & Director of Engineering for Tellabs China, from 2006 to 2014, and CTO for ZTE Broadband Access BU from 2003 to 2006.

Maoping earned a Masters of Communication Engineering at the University of Harbin Institute of Technology in China.
