Curtis Salter, MS, RBSM has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Curtis began their career as an Analyst at ROH, Inc, where they assisted in engineering and financial analysis for the US Department of the Navy. Curtis then joined the Hechinger Company as a Manager, gaining extensive training and hands-on experience in retail management.

Moving into the government contracting industry, Salter worked at NISH, Inc as an Operations Manager III-Team Leader, overseeing the acquisition and management of federal contracts. Curtis later joined NISH, Inc National Headquarters as an Assistant Vice President, responsible for executing consulting and support services to regional offices. During their tenure, they developed and implemented contract pricing policies and guidelines and established the NISH Center of Excellence Program.

Salter then joined Chimes DC, where they served in several roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Contracting Officer & Facility Security Officer. Curtis was responsible for operational and contract oversight of numerous federal, state, and commercial contracts, worth $70M in annual revenue. Curtis also developed and implemented quality control and scheduling systems, and successfully secured seven new federal and state contracts.

Currently, Salter works at Didlake, Inc. as the Director of Contract Development & Administration. In this role, they oversee federal contracting activities, negotiates service contracts, and drives the implementation of strategic contract development techniques to new opportunities.

Curtis Salter, MS, RBSM, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from George Mason University from 1982 to 1987. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Management from the Florida Institute of Technology, which they completed from 1998 to 2001. In 1990 to 1992, Curtis also received a Certification in Contract Leadership from the Leadership Development Institute at the University of Maryland. Additionally, in June 2013, Curtis obtained the RBSM certification from the BSCAI institution.
