Kevin Matjeka

Kevin Matjeka currently serves as CFO, Financial Director, and Project Manager at ASTRA e.V. since December 2022 and has also taken on the role of Data Engineer with Die Sparkasse Bremen AG since October 2022. Prior to these positions, Kevin Matjeka interned in Data Analytics, Data Warehouse, and Data Engineering. Kevin Matjeka completed a Bachelor Thesis at the University of Bremen, focusing on theoretical Molecular Dynamics, specifically on aggregation behavior and surface tension at a water-surfactant-vacuum interface, while participating in the EU-financed PROGENY project. Previous experience includes a role as Service Staff at elko & Werder Security GmbH, where skills in de-escalation and first aid were developed. Kevin Matjeka is pursuing a Master of Science in Physics at the University of Bremen, building on a Bachelor of Science in Physics earned from the same institution.
