Georg Obermaier is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and management within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as General Manager of the Business Unit Composites at Dieffenbacher since December 2020, Georg oversees global sales, the design of forming systems including automation, product management and development, as well as worldwide service and modernization. Prior to this role, Georg was Head of Engineering at Felss Systems GmbH, managing mechanical, fluid, control technology, tool design, and documentation. Georg's career also includes significant contributions at Schuler Pressen GmbH, where responsibilities encompassed leadership roles in product management and project execution for hydraulic forming systems, and earlier tenure at Dieffenbacher Maschinenfabrik GmbH, focusing on project management for sheet metal forming systems and sales in the stainless steel sector.
