Alex Brouwer

Alex Brouwer currently serves as a Sr. Advisor B&S and Accountmanager at DUO (Dienst Uitvoering Onderwijs) since September 2025. Prior to this role, Alex worked at YER from February 2022 to September 2025, holding positions as Teamlead, Accountmanager, Consultant, and Recruitmentconsultant. Alex also became CEO of AA Cards from March 2024 to September 2025. Between June 2020 and October 2023, Alex co-owned Saiyan Nutrition, a supplement company, managing all tasks independently. Additional experience includes working as a Bemonsteraar and Administratief medewerker at GGD GHOR Nederland from December 2021 to February 2022, and serving as a Teacher Assistant and mentor at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen from September 2016 to July 2019. Early career experience includes a retail role at Albert Heijn from December 2010 to April 2014. Alex holds a Double Degree Master of Science in Economics and Chinese Economy from the University of Groningen and Fudan University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Business Economics from the University of Groningen, graduating with First Class Honours.
