Stephan Lugthart

Stephan Lugthart is an experienced professional in the field of animal welfare and nature conservation, currently serving as an Animal Welfare Officer and Nature Conservation Educator at Diergaarde Blijdorp - Rotterdam Zoo since October 2021. Prior to these roles, Stephan completed an internship at the same institution, focusing on NVD welfare assessments for Sumatran tigers and contributing to various research and education projects. Additional experience includes work as a Kitchen Assistant at Eetcafé H41 B.V. and as an All-round Shop Assistant at Visgilde Gouda. Stephan holds a Master's degree in Forest and Nature Conservation from Wageningen University & Research and has also completed a training program in Nature Guiding in South Africa.
