Yohan Thilakaratne

Yohan Thilakaratne has over two decades of experience in corporate communications and marketing, currently serving as the General Manager of Corporate Communications at Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC since June 2002. Key responsibilities include building and protecting the DIMO brand, managing group communications across various business divisions, and ensuring alignment with the company's core values and strategy. Previous roles include Deputy General Manager in Corporate Communications, Group Marketing & Corporate Communications Manager, and Business Development Manager, as well as early career positions in marketing and sales. Yohan holds an MBA in Marketing from the Postgraduate Institute of Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Science from the University of Colombo, along with additional marketing and computer science qualifications.
