Janella Temple

Janella Temple is the current Senior Regional Account Manager at Dietitians On Demand. Janella has been in this position since May of 2015. Prior to that, they were the Director of Human Resources at Petersburg City Public Schools from July 2014 to May 2015. From October 2013 to July 2014, they were the Director of Professional Learning & Coordinator of Human Resource Services at King and Queen County Public Schools. From April of 2011 to September of 2013, they were a Human Resources Recruiter at Dominion. In this position, they worked as the internal account manager, responsible for the staffing needs of designated Hiring Managers and Business Units. Janella also partnered closely with Field HR and business leadership such as Hiring Managers and Business units to execute a recruiting strategy consistent with business goals. Additionally, they were responsible for selling and promoting Dominion to applicants and applicants to Dominion. To do this, they developed external relationships to build pipeline of talent in order to find the most qualified candidates. Janella used a variety of methods to deliver a talent pool for specific positions and identified, solicited, evaluated and analyzed effectiveness of current and potential sources. Furthermore, they screened and reviewed candidates based on the requirements indicated in the requisition and strategy notes of a position to ensure qualified candidates are presented. Lastly, they scheduled and conducted telephone interviews and in-person interviews as well as created and processed Interview, Contingent Offer Letter and Report to Work documents.

Janella Temple has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management and Training from Old Dominion University. Janella also has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Education Administration & Supervision from Virginia Commonwealth University. Janella is certified from SHRM in SHRM-CP and from HRIC in PHR. Janella is also certified from HRCI in Professional in Human Resources (PHR).
