Zaina Ahmed-Karim

Zaina Ahmed-Karim serves as Partner and Chief Financial Officer at CVC DIF since September 2022, contributing to the Executive Committee of the independent private markets fund manager. Prior to this role, Zaina held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Dasym from July 2021 to August 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing a research-driven investment firm with a global presence. Zaina's extensive career at EY spanned from September 1996 to June 2021, culminating in a Partner role focused on audits for large international clients in financial services, along with experience as a Senior Manager coordinating audit engagements. Zaina began their career at EY in various positions to gain industry experience, ultimately becoming a Chartered Accountant after completing postgraduate accountancy studies at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where a Master's degree in Business Economics and Accountancy was also obtained.
