Ajay Gopalswamy has extensive experience in the robotics and automation industry. Ajay started their career as a Scientist at the Centre For Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in Bangalore in 1990. Ajay then worked at ABB Limited as a Senior Engineer in Robotics from 1994 to 2000. From 2000 to 2006, they served as the General Manager of Robot at FANUC India Pvt. Ltd. In 2007, they co-founded and became the CEO of DIFACTO Robotics and Automation Pvt. Ltd., where they provided end-to-end engineering solutions for robot-based automation systems. Ajay also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at DiFACTO Robotics and Automation. Throughout their career, Ajay Gopalswamy has built a strong reputation in the robotics and automation industry, serving major automotive clients in India and automation OEMs in the USA, Europe, and Japan.
Ajay Gopalswamy completed their primary education at VS Vidyalaya from 1976 to 1981. Ajay then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UVCE, where they studied from 1983 to 1988. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to earn a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University, where they studied from 1988 to 1990.
