Yogesh Kumar has a diverse work experience in the field of automation and robotics. Yogesh is currently associated with The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) as the Chairman of the Foundry Automation Committee and Chairman for IFEX 2024. Prior to this, they held the role of Joint Secretary at IIF. Before joining IIF, Yogesh Kumar worked at DiFACTO Robotics and Automation, where they served as the Chief Operations Officer and was responsible for overseeing the overall operations. Yogesh also held the positions of Head of Business Development & System Engineering and Head of Robot Engineering Services at DiFACTO. Earlier in their career, Yogesh Kumar worked at FANUC India Pvt Ltd as an Assistant Manager in Robot System Engineering and as an Engineer in Robot System Engineering.
Yogesh Kumar has a diverse education history that includes degrees in business analytics, engineering technology, and tool & die making. Yogesh completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Analytics from the BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programmes. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree (BS) in Engineering Technology from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Additionally, Yogesh Kumar has a Diploma in Tool & Die making from Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF), which they completed from 1996 to 1999.
