Elena Czubiak has diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Elena began their career as a Night Production Intern at The Daily Californian in 2008. Elena then went on to work as a Research Intern at Westpark Pictures in 2010. In 2009, they worked as an Independent Contractor for the Global Film Initiative, where they managed the Non-Profit Google AdWords account and redesigned portions of the website. Elena also founded and served as the President of The Photowalk Club, a photography club at UC Berkeley, from 2009 to 2011.

In 2011, Elena joined Magoosh as a Marketing Intern. Later that same year, they started working at Google as an Android Partner Brand Manager, where they collaborated with a creative agency to develop training modules for retail sales associates and redesigned the Android brand guidelines site. Elena also held the role of Help Content Manager, managing multiple major help centers and driving product changes based on user feedback. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Program Manager in Online Help at Google.

From 2018 to 2022, Elena worked as a Freelance Web & Mobile Developer and Designer at Saturday Design, where they built new front-ends for live auctions and integrated real-time data access using Vue.js, Vuex, and Pusher.

In 2020, Elena co-founded Imaginarie, a meditation app, where they worked as a Co-Founder, Developer, and Designer. The app offers meditation through imagination and was built using Vue.js and custom Java and Swift code.

Currently, Elena holds the position of Software Engineer & Designer at Diffbot, starting in 2022.

Elena Czubiak has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. In 2017 to 2018, they attended Hack Reactor where they completed a Software Engineering Immersive program. Additionally, in 2015, they completed a Backend Web Development course at General Assembly.

Prior to college, Elena attended Rio Mesa High School from 2003 to 2007.

In terms of certifications, they obtained a Progressive Web Apps (PWA) - The Complete Guide certification from Udemy in February 2019. In March 2016, they also obtained a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Google.
