Michael Young

Michael Young is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer currently involved in drug discovery at Diffuse Bio since January 2024. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Search) at Moveworks, where contributions were made to a cloud-based AI platform for resolving IT support issues autonomously. Michael's experience also includes working as an NLP Engineer at Volley, focusing on developing machine learning systems for enterprise applications, and previous positions as a software engineer intern in various companies, where skills in data engineering, document similarity services, and automatic quiz generation were further developed. Michael holds a Graduate Certificate in Bioinformatics from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Mathematics with Distinction from the University of Waterloo.
