Shreyas Kumbhare, PhD has extensive experience in the field of microbiology. In 2012, they began their career as a Junior Research Fellow at the National Center for Cell Science in India, where they developed their skills in bacterial identification, bacterial genomics, and microbial bioinformatics. In 2016, they were promoted to Senior Research Fellow at the same institution, where they worked on gut microbiome profiling of mother and infant in Indian subpopulations. In 2019, they moved to the University of Manitoba as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where their research focused on exploring the microbiome mediated clinical benefits of nutritional fortifiers in preterm infants. Shreyas currently holds the role of Senior Scientist at Digbi Health.
Shreyas Kumbhare obtained their Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Savitribai Phule Pune University in the years 2007-2010. Shreyas then pursued their Master's degree in Microbiology from the same university from 2010-2012. In 2015-2019, Shreyas Kumbhare completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Microbiology from North Maharashtra University. In November 2021, Shreyas Kumbhare obtained a Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services.
