Michelle Young

Michelle Young is a seasoned legal professional with significant experience in both prosecution and personal injury claims. Currently serving as a Senior Solicitor at Digby Brown Solicitors since January 2020, Michelle specializes in personal injury claims for victims of crime, with a focus on historic abuse and contentious CICA tribunal matters. Prior to this role, Michelle worked as a Procurator Fiscal Depute at the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service from October 2008 to January 2020, gaining extensive court experience in prosecuting complex jury trials, including cases of fraud, homicide, and sexual offences. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LLM) from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Glasgow.
