Asit Kumar

Asit Kumar possesses extensive experience in information security and management, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer at Digi Yatra Foundation from October 2024 to June 2025. Prior to this role, Asit held various positions at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) from August 2007 to July 2025, including Scientist E (Joint Director) and Chief Information Security Officer. Asit began the career at C-DAC Bangalore as a Project Engineer from August 2007 to December 2009. Academically, Asit earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Bhagalpur College of Engineering and an Executive MBA in IT and Finance from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University.
