Ari Varpenius

Ari Varpenius currently serves as Vice President of Enterprise Solutions at Digia Plc since June 2025. Prior to this role, Ari held several leadership positions at CGI from January 2014 to May 2025, including Vice President of Intellectual Property, where responsibility encompassed a sub-business unit with various IP solutions across multiple industries. Additional roles at CGI included Vice President of Consulting Services for Manufacturing IPs and for the Construction, Real Estate, and Graphical industries, where P&L responsibilities were significant. Earlier experience includes positions at Logica from 2001 to 2013, focusing on B2C and B2B eCommerce solutions, and a study leave at the University of Tampere, which involved core subjects such as Strategy and Business Law. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Tampere.
