Samson Wasira

Samson Wasira is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in risk management and operations, currently serving as the Head of Risk, Compliance & Operations at Digicel Group since October 2017. In this role, Samson has successfully planned, designed, and implemented a comprehensive Risk Management process for MonCash, focusing on risk assessment models and internal controls. Prior to this, Samson held various roles at Millicom from March 2008 to September 2017, including Head of Risk & Operations for MFS Africa and Revenue Assurance Manager, where responsibilities included cross-market risk management and revenue assurance practices across multiple African countries. Educational qualifications include a Certificate in Cyber Security & Risk Management from Harvard University, an MBA from the Eastern & Southern African Management Institute, and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam.
