Desiree Eveleigh

Desiree Eveleigh has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Desiree is currently employed at DigiCert, Inc. as a Principal Software Engineer, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company from June 2022 to March 2023.

From 2019 to 2022, Desiree worked at Metropolitan GetUp, first as a Senior Full Stack Developer from July 2019 to July 2020, and then as a Solutions Architect from July 2020 to June 2022.

Before that, they held multiple roles at MMI Holdings, including Senior Full Stack Developer from January 2011 to August 2014, Development Team Lead Premium Collections from September 2014 to December 2015, Development Team Lead - Sales from December 2015 to December 2016, and Senior Full Stack Developer from January 2017 to June 2019. In these roles, they were responsible for development, maintenance, and technical architecture of various systems using technologies such as Java, Springboot, AngularJS, Angular 6, IBM Batch, ESB Mediations, and BPEL processes.

Desiree also has experience working at Metropolitan as a Web Development Team Lead from January 2010 to December 2010 and as a Full-stack Developer from October 2002 to December 2009.

Desiree'searly career includes roles as a Junior Full Stack Developer at The National Student Financial Aid Scheme from August 2000 to September 2002, an I.T Help-desk Consultant at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from December 1996 to November 1998, and a Software Training and Technical Support Consultant at Deloitte & Touche from November 1994 to April 1996.

Desiree's first job was as a Software Training Consultant at MSC Training from August 1992 to October 1994.

Desiree Eveleigh obtained a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 2011 to 2014. In addition, Desiree has completed multiple certifications, including Advanced Learning Algorithms, Supervised Machine Learning, Become a Blockchain Developer, and various others from reputable institutions such as Coursera and LinkedIn, all obtained in 2022 and 2023.
