Tobias Turba

Tobias Turba began their work experience in 2003 with Hassia Mineralquellen GmbH & Co. KG, where they served as a System Administrator and IT Support employee. Tobias also completed an apprenticeship as an IT Business Manager during this time.

In 2011, Turba worked as a student employee in software development and system administration at CGI Deutschland Ltd. & Co. KG. During this period, they conducted research on software product management methods and their applicability in the aerospace industry, implemented and maintained a continuous integration environment, developed a web application for VMware environment control, established an IT infrastructure monitoring system, and researched best practices for system and integration testing in flexible, message-oriented IT systems.

Turba joined CGI Deutschland Ltd. & Co. KG as an AIV Engineer & Build Manager in March 2014 and transitioned to the role of Product Assurance & Configuration and Data Management (CADM) Manager in March 2016. In these positions, they contributed to the engineering and management of projects within the company.

From 2018 until September 2022, Turba worked at exocad GmbH as a Software Quality Engineer, ensuring the quality of software products.

Currently, Turba is employed at digid GmbH as a Quality Manager for Medical Software, starting in October 2022.

Tobias Turba completed their education at Hochschule Darmstadt, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatik from 2007 to 2011. Tobias further pursued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Informatik from 2011 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Tobias Turba has obtained several certifications. In January 2018, they received the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert. In November 2017, they achieved the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org. Furthermore, in September 2017, Tobias Turba became a CMMI Associate certified by the CMMI Institute. Lastly, they are currently pursuing a Nano Degree in IT-Sicherheit-Management from Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule, which they are expected to complete in June 2023.
