Anca Matei has a diverse work experience history. Anca started their career as a Student Research Assistant at the Center for Institutional Analysis and Development Eleutheria in 2010. Anca then worked as a Comenius Assistant at Escola Secundária de Valongo, where they assisted teachers, taught Romanian language and culture, and conducted workshops for adults. In 2012, Anca joined armatis-lc as a Team Lead and later became an Assureur Qualité Discours (Quality Controller). Anca then joined TELUS International Europe as a Quality Controller and Trainer in 2014. In 2015, they worked as Chargée Qualité et Formation at showroomprive.com before joining Digimind in 2017. At Digimind, they initially worked as an Onboarding Trainer and later became the Head of Customer Education.

Anca Matei has a diverse education history. Anca obtained a Master's Degree in International Economics and European Affairs from Academia de Studii Economice din București in 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in International Economics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2008. Anca also holds another Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Economics from Academia de Studii Economice din București, which they earned in 2008. Anca Matei graduated from Colegiul National de Informatica Grigore Moisil in Brasov, Romania in 2004, where they obtained a Baccalaureate degree with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in various fields, including Agile Instructional Design, Foundations in Customer Education, Initiating and Planning Projects, Introduction to Big Data, Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française DALF C1, and the Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (Grade A).
