Greg Bollella

Greg Bollella has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Since March 2021, they have been serving as the Co-Founder and CTO of DIGIOTAI Solutions. Prior to that, they worked as an IoT/Edge and Real-Time Virtualization Consultant as a self-employed individual starting in April 2020. In 2020, they also worked as a 3D Artist. From 2014 to 2020, they held multiple roles at VMware, including CTO of Internet-of-Things and Principal Investigator. Before that, they worked as an Architect at Oracle Research from 2012 to 2014 and as Greg Bollella at Oracle, Inc from 2012 to 2014. Greg also served as the Chief Architect of Embedded Java at Oracle from 2010 to 2012 and as the Chief Architect at Oracle, Inc from 2010 to 2011. At Sun Microsystems, they held several positions from 2000 to 2010, including Distinguished Engineer, Director Real-Time, and Senior Staff Engineer. Additionally, they worked as a Distinguished Visiting Scientist at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory from 2001 to 2005, where they led the architectural design of a control system for a Martian Rover.

Greg Bollella received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the years 1988 to 1997.
