Brian Lelas

Lead Narrative Designer at DIGIT Game Studios

Brian Lelas has worked in the gaming industry for over a decade. Brian began their career in 2006 as a Bookseller at Waterstones in Dublin. In 2011, they joined Gaming Target.com as a European News Editor and Games Reviewer, writing features, news, and reviews on a regular basis. Later that year, they joined PopCap Games as a QA Tester for the Core Development Team of Bejeweled for iPhone and iPad. In 2012, they were Lead QA at Cleverbug, and also began working at DIGIT Game Studios as a Lead Narrative Designer. In this role, they have been responsible for leading a team to create in-game content like level design and the hugely popular Missions system. In 2015, they transitioned to Senior Game Designer and Narrative Designer, and has since been responsible for Narrative arcs, writing and level design content, many of the player's progression paths through the game, rules, stats and attributes for various in-game objects and writing multiple areas of the Game Design Document.

Brian Lelas attended Ballyfermot College of Further Education from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a Higher National Diploma in Computer Game Design.
