Collin Osting

Collin Osting has a diverse background in IT, starting with their role as a Network Infrastructure Technician in the U.S. Air Force from September 2008 to September 2012. During this time, they monitored and maintained computer systems supporting over 25,000 users, coordinated restoration actions, and troubleshooted single customer nodes and long haul circuits.

Following their military service, Collin worked as an IT specialist for the Defense Logistics Agency from August 2012 to October 2014. In this role, they performed PC hardware and software troubleshooting and support, assigned and routed work requests, and resolved issues over the phone or through remote software tools.

From November 2014 to August 2019, Collin served as an IT Support Specialist at Dornier MedTech. Collin provided support for hardware, software, physical security systems, and telephone systems for both local and remote users. Additionally, they acted as an account manager for service/support agreements, overseeing administration of Microsoft Windows Server and Windows operating systems.

Most recently, Collin joined Digital Agent, LLC in August 2019 as an IT Engineer. Further details about their responsibilities in this role are not provided.

Collin Osting began their education at Kennesaw Mountain High School from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their High School Diploma. In 2008, they attended the USAF Technical School for Network Infrastructure/Electronic Systems but did not receive a degree. From 2013 to 2018, Collin attended Western Governors University and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Collin Osting has obtained several certifications. In 2010, they earned the Security+ certification from CompTIA. In 2012, they received the Windows 7 configuring certification from Microsoft. In 2013, they obtained the A+ certification from CompTIA. Collin also holds certifications such as Web Design Specialist and CIW Web Foundations Associate from CIW, obtained in 2014. Furthermore, they have obtained certifications including Datto Technical Specialist II, Auvik Certified Professional, Alienvault Certified Security Engineer, and Datto Certified Advanced Technician, all attained in 2020. Collin is also IT Glue Certified and holds the Network+ certification, although the specific dates of these certifications are not provided.
