Matt Jarvis

Software Engineer at DAS (Digital Agriculture Services)

Matt Jarvis has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Matt started their career at Sportz Australasia, where they worked in various positions including IT support, warehousing and logistics, and sales. During their time at Sportz Australasia, they were responsible for a range of tasks such as picking and packing orders, administering the Windows network, developing Excel/VBA solutions, and coordinating international freight. After leaving Sportz Australasia, Matt joined Scicluna's Real Food Merchants as a part-time storeman while studying at university. Their duties there included receiving fresh produce, forklift duties, stock rotation, and customer service. Most recently, Matt has worked as a Developer at mVoice and is currently employed as a Software Engineer at DAS (Digital Agriculture Services).

Matt Jarvis began their education in 2010 at RMIT University, where they pursued a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Computational Mathematics. Matt completed their studies in 2012.

In 2013, Matt enrolled in three short courses at Udacity. Matt undertook a course in Web Development, followed by a course in HTML5 Game Development. Both courses were completed within the same year.

In 2014, Matt pursued another short course, this time at Udacity, in the field of Statistics.

More recently, in 2022, Matt attended Udemy Alumni for two short courses. Matt completed a course on Working with Microservices in Go, and another on Go Programming: The Complete Developer's Guide.
