Mike McCready

Mike McCready, MSc, serves as the Associate Dean for the School of Media and Information Technology at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology since September 2024. Currently holding positions as a Board Member for Digital Alberta and an Advisory Board Member for SXSW, McCready brings extensive experience in the field of Virtual and Augmented Reality, previously promoting these technologies at Lethbridge Polytechnic as an Industry Liaison and Research Advisor. Alongside these roles, McCready has contributed as an instructor in multimedia development and has held various positions focused on web development and digital strategies across multiple educational institutions. McCready's qualifications include a Master's degree in Digital Arts from the University of Kent, along with certifications and diplomas in multimedia production and virtual reality.
