Robert Cantley Sr.

Robert Cantley Sr. has over 23 years of work experience. Robert started their career in 1997 as a Jailer/Dispatcher for the City of Gatlinburg, where they also worked as a Police Officer and Evidence Technician. During their time with the City of Gatlinburg, they were responsible for managing custody of department evidence, administering grants, and assisting with department planning and budget. In 2017, they joined Digital Ally Inc. as a Regional Sales Manager, a position they held until 2021. In this role, they were responsible for sales in a specific region. From 2021 to 2022, they worked at RippleWorx as a Business Development - Law Enforcement. In 2022, they joined Anderson County (TN) Sheriff's Office as a Reserve Sheriff's Deputy and later became a Patrol Deputy. Robert is currently employed at Digital Ally Inc. as an Inside Sales Coordinator, where they consult with law enforcement agencies and provides them with video evidence solutions.

Robert Cantley Sr. obtained their Peace Officer Certification in Law Enforcement from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy in 2000. Later, from 2012 to 2016, they attended Bethel University, College of Professional Studies, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Criminal Justice. Robert also obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the same institution between 2014 and 2015. In addition to their formal education, Robert Cantley Sr. holds certifications such as the Police Officer/Law Enforcement Officer/Peace Officer Certification (POST) from the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, obtained in February 2000, and the FAA Part 107 Commercial UAV Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, obtained in January 2021.
