Philip Vasquez has a wealth of experience in the legal and technology sectors. Philip began their career in 2014 as a Legal Advisor at Gordon McGrath, Attorneys-at-Law, where they assisted the firm's managing partner on a variety of matters. In the same year, they became a Special Projects/Legal employee at DueDil, a high growth fintech company in London, where they were responsible for technology and data contract negotiation and drafting, drafting online software service terms and conditions, drafting website policies, and more.

In 2015, Philip became an Organiser for the Gibraltar Startup Community, where they grew the community to over 500 members in 16 months and helped to put Gibraltar on the map as the place to start a business. Philip also became an Associate at Triay Stagnetto Neish, where they worked on securities/public offerings in Gibraltar, relocation of global staff to Gibraltar, international regulatory overviews, and more.

In 2017, Philip became the Chief Legal Officer & Co-Founder of Digital Asset Management Ltd, a Digital Assets firm authorised and regulated by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission as a Distributed Ledger Technology Provider. Philip also became a Director of the Gibraltar Federation of Small Businesses, a leading non political campaigning pressure group for the promotion and protection of small an medium sized businesses in Gibraltar.

In 2021, Philip became an Executive Member of the Gibraltar Association for New Technologies (GANT).

Philip Vasquez has a strong educational background in law. Philip began their studies in 2010 at Cardiff University, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with a major in Law and Sociology. Philip then attended City, University of London, where they earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in Law in 2015, as well as a Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) in 2014. Afterward, they attended the University of Gibraltar, where they earned a Professional Certificate in Gibraltar Law in 2016.
