Andreas Lochbihler

Andreas Lochbihler has worked as a Principal Engineer and Manager for Formal Methods at Digital Asset since May 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Formal Methods Engineer at the same company from February 2018 to April 2022. Before joining Digital Asset, Andreas worked as a Senior Researcher at ETH Zürich from April 2015 to January 2018 and as a Postdoctoral Researcher from January 2013 to March 2015. Andreas also worked as a Research Assistant at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) from April 2008 to December 2012 and at Universität Passau from October 2006 to March 2008.

Andreas Lochbihler obtained a Diplom degree in Computer Science from Universität Passau, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. Andreas also pursued additional studies at The University of Edinburgh during the 2003-2004 academic year. Later on, they attended the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), where they earned their Doktor rer. nat. (PhD) in Computer Science between 2008 and 2012.
