Alistair MacNeil

Alistair Macneil has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Alistair is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Digital Boutique since 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Managing Director at Cohesion Digital for almost a decade. Their role involved leading a team of Magento Certified experts in developing high-performance eCommerce websites. Before that, Alistair worked as a Freelance Consultant at Handy Apps from 2004 to 2010. Alistair also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at Seamanship International and as a Software Engineer at Vickers Defence Systems.

Alistair Macneil attended Edinburgh Napier University from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a BEng degree in Software Engineering. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including GDPR Practitioner from IBITGQ in 2018, Magento Certified Solution Specialist from Magento in 2014, and a certification in Usability and Persuasion in Ecommerce from Econsultancy.
