Nick Wright

Nick Wright is a business professional with experience in a variety of industries, including aerospace and defence, manufacturing, food, and telecommunications. Nick currently holds an unknown role at Digital Catapult, and previously worked as a Manager in Management Consulting at Accenture from January 2015 to October 2017.

At Accenture, Nick was responsible for developing propositions that harnessed data analytics in a manufacturing environment, as well as creating KPIs and dashboards to monitor Manufacturing Engineering performance. As Business Readiness Lead for a global aerospace & defence company, they delivered the Cutover and Go Live plan for an ERP implementation focused on 5 business functions and associated processes. Nick also managed the development of Operational and BI Reporting capability within the new ERP system. In their role as Business Case Development Lead for the same company, they created a business case for an eBusiness solution to be implemented in the Supply Chain function.

Nick Wright has an EngD from The University of Manchester in The Implementation of Ultrasonic Welding in the Automotive Industry and a MEng from University of Nottingham in Mechanical Design, Materials and Manufacture. Nick also attended Ilkley Grammar School.
