Ying Xie

Ying Xie is a Professor in Supply Chain Analytics at Cranfield University since September 2022 and a Member of the Strategic Advisory Board for the Digital Supply Chain Innovation Hub at Digital Catapult. With extensive experience in academia, Ying Xie previously served as a Professor in Supply Chain Management and Director of the Centre for Intelligent Supply Chain at Anglia Ruskin University for a decade, where responsibilities included overseeing partnerships with Chinese institutions and leading various educational initiatives. Additional roles include assessments for the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply and prior leadership positions at the University of Greenwich, where Ying Xie managed curriculum development and a teaching team. Ying Xie holds a PhD in Supply Chain and Operational Research from Coventry University and an MSc in Intelligence Engineering from the University of Liverpool.
