Karthik Ramasamy

Karthik Ramasamy has a strong background in compositing, with experience in various companies and roles throughout their career. Karthik is currently working at Digital Domain as a Lead Compositor, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Compositor at Mr. X from November 2019 to April 2022. Karthik has also held Senior Compositor positions at Hydraulx from June 2017 to October 2018, MPC from August 2015 to June 2017, and Base FX from August 2013 to August 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Compositor at Cinesite from March 2013 to June 2013, and at Base FX from January 2013 to March 2013. Karthik has also gained experience as a Compositor at The Mill from October 2012 to January 2013, Mainframe from September 2012 to October 2012, and BlueBolt from August 2012 to September 2012.

Karthik Ramasamy began their education at Anna University from 2002 to 2006, where they completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree. Following this, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Visual Effects from the Image College of Arts, Animation & Technology, which they finished in 2007. In 2010, Karthik attended Bournemouth University and earned a Master of Arts degree in Digital Effects with Distinction in 2011.
