Upendra Kumar Singh

Upendra Kumar Singh has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting roles. Upendra currently holds the position of Vice President Finance at Digital Domain, where they have been working since 2017. Prior to this, they served as Director - Finance and Senior Finance Manager at Digital Domain.

Before joining Digital Domain, Upendra worked at DQ Entertainment as the Assistant General Manager- Finance & Accounts from 2014 to 2017. There, they were responsible for leading finance and accounts at the corporate group head office, overseeing tasks such as consolidation of group accounting, corporate finance, and financial planning.

From 2011 to 2014, Upendra held the position of Manager Finance & Company Secretary at ELKEN INTERNATIONAL INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED. In this role, they ensured compliance with IFRS and IGAAP for financial reporting and managed financial stability at the national level.

Earlier in their career, Upendra served as the Unit Finance Head- Project at Yeshwantpur, Bangalore for The Indian Hotels Company Limited from 2009 to 2011, and as an Asst. Manager at Embassy Group in 2008.

Upendra Kumar Singh has a diverse educational background. Upendra began their education journey at St. Xavier's College from 1999 to 2002, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Accounts Honours. Following this, from 2004 to 2007, Upendra enrolled in two institutes simultaneously. Upendra attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they obtained a professional designation as a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), specializing in CA. At the same time, they also studied at The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, earning the degree of Associate Company Secretary (ACS) with a focus on Corporate Laws and Secretarial Practice.

Seeking further knowledge in the field, Upendra pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Choudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, from 2017 to 2021, specializing in Law. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2012, they earned an IFRS certification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. In 2014, they obtained the FXTM certification from the same institution. Lastly, in 2020, Upendra completed the Online Proficiency Self Assessment Test for Independent Director's Databank from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.
